Dental Implants have been used effectively to replace missing teeth for nearly forty years.
They enable you to recover the natural function of your teeth and your beautiful smile after tooth loss. Our teeth play an essential role in our lives.
Once a tooth is lost it can severely affect our eating habits, self-confidence and appearance. Dental Implants provide a way of replacing teeth without resorting to Dentures, Partials or Bridgework. They are fully functional replacements that look and feel like your natural teeth.
Generally made form Titanium, Dental Implants take on the role of an anchor within the mouth. The Implant is biocompatible and is surgically placed into the jawbone where the missing tooth is. As your mouth heals, approximately two to three months after surgery, the bone and implant will begin to fuse together. It can then be used to fasten ‘false teeth’ into position.
Dental Implants have changed the lives of many of our patients. Replacing your missing teeth will not only benefit your facial appearance but also your oral and general well-being. They can help you to speak and eat with confidence and prevent further damage to your existing teeth.
